Graduates' Employment
Opportunities
Mechanical
Engineering (Production and Mechanical Systems Design) Program graduates have
many employment opportunities in the design, development, and manufacturing
departments of industrial companies.
In particular, they may work in the following areas:
·
Analysis and design of
machinery, equipment, and material handling systems.
·
Automatic control
systems, including: hydraulics and pneumatics.
·
Production and
manufacturing techniques and automations.
·
Testing, measurement,
inspection, and quality control of products.
·
Maintenance, failure
analysis, and fault diagnosis of mechanical systems.
Key to Program Code and
Course Numbers
Each
course is uniquely identified by the program code and a three-digit number as
follows:
- Production and
Mechanical Systems Design Program courses are referred to by the code
“MENG”.
- The hundreds digit
refers to the school year in the Faculty of Engineering.
- The tenth digit
refers to the scientific area within the program as indicated in the
table below.
- The ones digit
refers to the course serial number within the same area.
